2 DAYS AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK.
2 days of Akagera National Park gives visitors an experience of exploring the flora and fauna in and around the park, a chance to see the African big five i.e. Lions, Elephants, leopard, Buffaloes and the Hippos. This is through having a boat cruise in the afternoon which is most preferred because the animals come to the lake for water in the afternoon time. Hot air balloon experience that gives visitors a chance to sail above animals and enjoy the sunrise.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT TRANSFER TO AKAGERA NP AND BOAT CRUISE.
Pick up at your hotel at transfer to Akagera national park. On arrival at the park entrance, receive briefing about the does and don’ts of the park. Afternoon boat cruise at Lake Ihema which is very rewarding for seeing the large number of hippos, the huge Nile crocodiles and many birds. Lake Ihema is the most exciting part of the park especially for birders. Overnight at Ruzizi Tented Lodge.
DAY 2: HOT AIR BALOON EXPERIENCE.
Hot Air balloon gives a unique safari experience of sailing high above nature and wildlife of Akagera National Park which is a lifetime experience. It gives magnificent views of the park and Lake Ihema and thus spotting the different animal species like buffaloes, antelopes, leopards, rhinos, lions among others and the beautiful landscape that creates a spectacular scenery.
Transfer back to Kigali and drop off at your hotel or Airport according to your schedule.
