Day 1Transfer to Lake Kivu and boat cruise

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Lake Kivu, Rwandaโ€™s tranquil freshwater gem nestled among rolling hills. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a nearby lakeside restaurant, with the gentle breeze and panoramic views providing the perfect introduction to the region.

After lunch, embark on a boat cruise on Lake Kivu, sailing across its calm waters while surrounded by lush scenery. This is an ideal opportunity for birdwatching, as the lake is home to a variety of species including kingfishers, African fish eagles, cormorants, herons, and weaver birds.
